Note I am experimenting with adding PDF files of the pages.  You will need PDF reader to view it. When it opens use the rotate clockwise or counterclockwise icon to view it like you want. A good way to view the picture if you want to look at a close-up of a particular step is use the zoom tool to select the area and use the + icon to enlarge it.

It is nice to have two countersinks, One I keep set for the #40 to flush rivet the nutplates and the other a special #30 designed for countersinking the wing skin holes. The #30 is wider than a normal #30 and causes less chattering. Available through Avery

Using the Special #30 CS at first it tends to chatter a bit but as the hole becomes deeper it centers in the nut plate screw hole and smoothes out. I am doing the nutplate one at a time and installing a screw to check depth. Also on the left wing I found a few nutplates with bad threads and it is much easier to deal with them now rather than when you a installing the tank

Mark our Chapter 23 Vice President dropped by and did a few rivets.

Countersinking all the rest of the holes where the wing skin dimples fit the spar

Installing the K-1000 6 nut plates for the wing access panel. I found these are easy to strip the head of the screws the first time you install them so I ran a #6 tap thru them to make it easier to turn the screw.

Almost forgot you need to deburr all the holes of the Bottom of the spar flange after you have drilled them for the flush rivet and #6 and #8 screw. The top will be countersunk so no need to deburr it.

Need to drill and deburr the skin, plate nut and #8 screw holes on the top flange

After plate nuts were riveted used the special countersink made for this job (it is 1/2 inch diameter available from Avery or Cleveland. Made a dimpled piece to check depth of countersink
